I never leave reviews but I feel like I need to for this experience. Excellent whiskey and even better customer service. Beeb (I may be spelling this wrong) was incredible and made my experience top notch. She was awesome! Will definitely bring some friends next time I’m in Portland.
I brought my family (party of 8) to Westward yesterday, Dec 29. They were able accommodate the size of my group and we had the tour to ourselves. Riley educated us on Westward’s process, history and was able to answer all of our questions. You can tell they are really passionate and proud of the whiskey they make. In the tasting room, Dorothy took care of us and was able to answer any additional questions we had. While it was unfortunate they were out of soda to make mock tails, the quality of the tour and customer service made it enjoyable. I would definitely do the tour again! Thanks Dorothy and Riley for the great customer service!
Wonderful distillery. All the spirits are quality. We went on a tour of the facility and the process. It was very cool to see how they make their products. Very clean facility. They give you samples from every step of the way and show you how it goes from beginning to end. Perfect little mixed cocktails to try out as well. Perfect new place to try out. Highly recommend to anyone
Phenomenal customer service! My partner’s bottle was ruined in a freak accident in our home and the team was so incredibly kind and accommodating with helping us get a new bottle. I especially want to shout out Thea who made sure to keep in constant contact with me and provided all tracking information for the new bottle. Truly exceptional work and will absolutely be purchasing from them again in the future!
We went because my wonderful fiancee signed me up for their Whiskey Club and there was a kickoff party for this quarter’s release. It was my first time there and my first time in a distillery. Everyone was so welcoming and knowledgeable. They obviously love their jobs and their company - it was refreshing, honestly. The whiskey fantastic - can’t argue that. I’m excited to visit for an actual tasting soon.
It’s a very pretty little bar. There’s a space in the back for cocktail classes and then they give guided tours. You can get a flight of whiskies or a flight of cocktails! Such a great idea. Whiskey fans will love this place.
Had an absolute blast at Westward. I got lucky and no one else was on my tour. Reilly was the guide and was friendly and let me geek out on the process to make whiskey. I highly recommend and will be looking for this in stores from here on out (I live out of state).
Came to visit from Chicago. This place is truly incredible. The products are phenomenal, and the team is fantastic. Miles is brilliant, and Jonathan makes incredible cocktails. A must visit. Thanks for making it a truly incredible experience.
